Dr. Fiona Harris Ramsby, Assistant Professor of Humanities and English, is one of a select group of faculty members nationwide chosen by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the Center for Hellenic Studies to participate in an Ancient Greece in the Modern Classroom seminar.

On May 23, 2017 the Historical Society of Bloomfield, in collaboration with Bloomfield College, Bloomfield Morris Canal Greenway Committee, and the Bloomfield Recreation Department, will present “The Story of the Morris Canal in Bloomfield: From its Heyday as Freight Transportation System to Modern Urban Greenway."
In 2013, Bloomfield College partnered with KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program), a national network of open-enrollment, college preparatory public schools. The partnership made Bloomfield College the first private school in the state of New Jersey to align with the organization.
A specific cohort of programs and scholarship opportunities will still require students to submit test scores.
Elizabeth Manoes ’18, an early childhood/special education major at the College, will begin her tenure with Disney on May 15, 2017.
The students, many of whom will graduate in May, had an impressive knowledge base and a real understanding of their fields of study.
Dr. Anita Pasmantier has been named a Fulbright Scholar and will teach Advanced Corporate Finance in Rome, Italy for the 2018 Spring semester.
Nick Davidson ’18 was named to the All-Metropolitan Writers Association (first team) and the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) 2017 Division II All-District East Second Team.
Patricia Spears Jones has won a $50,000 prize. Judges praised the Brooklyn-based poet, whose previous honors include a Pushcart Prize, for her “sophisticated and moving” work.
Roberts, who composed, produced, arranged, recorded, and engineered the six-track EP, will celebrate this accomplishment with a listening party on Friday, May 5.
The exhibit is open to the public through April 27, 2017 and is located on the second floor of the Bloomfield College library in the Scott H. Kaplan '02 Gallery.
Dr. DeGruy, a renowned researcher, educator, and author, will present on her work Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome. James Harris, President of the NJ Association of Black Educators, will receive the EOF Advocate of the Year Award.

Star athlete and Bloomfield College alumnus, Gage Daye '12, has established a scholarship at his alma mater designed for students hailing from Newark, New Jersey.
This is! We Are!: Acts of Resistance premieres April 7 and 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Black Box Studio (room 117) in the Center for Technology + Creativity. Admission is free.
