Bloomfield College's Adam Castro to Co-host Admissions Live

Bloomfield College’s Vice President for Enrollment Management, Adam Castro, is officially the newest member of Higher Ed Live.

According to their website, Higher Ed Live, produced by mStoner, Inc., provides viewers live, weekly content about admissions, advancement, marketing, student affairs, and communications to higher education professionals.

Bloomfield College is thrilled to announce Adam will join Nicole Lentine as co-host of Admissions Live. Admissions Live focuses on recruitment trends, yield strategies, and hot topics for college admission professionals and partnering high school counselors. They will interview practitioners, thought leaders, and others who can provide unique perspectives on issues and trends in an ever-changing industry.

"College admission isn’t just a career to Adam — it’s his passion. He is well respected in the field and an active NACAC member who truly values collaboration,” said Kate Sigety, the National Association for College Admission Counseling's manager of communications, content and social media.  “Adam is the perfect addition to Higher Ed Live. Adam’s voice and vision contribute to conversations — both digital and personal — that create a positive impact for students, his peers, and the higher education field as a whole.”

Adam has been at Bloomfield College since 2003 and has also served as Assistant Director of Admission, Associate Director of Admission, Director of Admission, and Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management during his tenure.

Adam is an active member of numerous organizations, including the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), the ACT New Jersey State Council, NAFSA: Association for International Educators, and the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in New Jersey (AICUNJ).

Be sure to tune in; Admissions Live airs every other Monday at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT. Adam’s first episode will be Monday, August 29.
