NiCori Studios, Bloomfield College to Host First NJ Cabaret Festival

Bloomfield College partner NiCori Studios and Productions has announced the first New Jersey Cabaret Festival at the Westminster Arts Center on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9, both at 7 p.m.

The nights will feature over 20 multi-award winning, musical talents who were either born, reside, or have strong ties to New Jersey.

March 8 kicks off the two-night event and will be hosted by Bloomfield’s own Corinna Sowers Adler, co-founder of NiCori Studios and Productions and multi-award nominee singer/actress. The opening night will feature recording artist Wendy Lane Bailey; NiCori student Grace Carlin; internationally acclaimed guitarist Sean Harkness; multi-award winning singer Stearns Matthews; Comedian Warren Schein; Broadway actress Elizabeth Southard; actress/singer Cindy Summers; recording artist Joanne Tatham; and song stylist Lisa Yaege.

March 9 will be A Tribute to Frank Sinatra hosted by MAC and Bistro Award winning singer, Stearns Matthews. The show will once again feature Sowers Adler; recording artist Frank Dain; composer/singer Jim Horan; Broadway actress Rosemary Loar; singer Mikel Mafaro; cabaret entertainer Gerry Mastrolia; NiCori student Luke Surretsky; and Broadway World award winning vocalist Lisa Viggiano.

NiCori Studios and Productions is a pre-professional theater training center based in Bloomfield dedicated to educating both amateur and seasoned performing artists. Offerings include voice lessons, musical theatre classes, acting workshops, songwriting workshops, dance classes, and technical theatre workshops.
