Lisa St. Hilaire obtained a BA in Speech Drama Communications from Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware. Most recently, Lisa worked as a Career Advisor for Berkeley College, where she successfully assisted approximately 100 students each cohort with job placement and internships. She is dedicated to nurturing, motivating, and creating positive relationships with her students. Lisa’s goal is to prepare the student to have a successful journey as they enter the workforce. Prior to working in Higher Education, Lisa worked as a morning Disc Jockey in Delaware and 5 years as a Staffing Manager and Recruiter in New York. One of her favorite mantras is: “Nothing beats a failure but a try.”
Edgar "Ed" Evans, a San Antonio, Texas native, is a retired Information Technology (IT) leader, licensed New Jersey real estate agent, and volunteer career counselor at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Ed retired in early 2019 after a 25 year IT career at USAA, a Fortune 100 financial services company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. After 5 years as a software developer, he spent the final 20 years of his career in various management positions including Director of Enterprise Systems and Document Management; and Executive Director for Asset Management and Financial Planning systems. During that time, he led people and budgets dedicated to the architecture, development, and maintenance of mission critical computer systems totaling $500 million.
Prior to his IT career, he co-founded and managed Budget Air, a residential and light commercial air conditioning, heating and refrigeration company in Houston, Texas for 7 years.
Ed earned a BBA in Information Systems from the University of Texas @ San Antonio, and has several professional designations in IT and Life Insurance office management. He is also a past-president of the San Antonio Tennis Association.
Ed is married to his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, Dr. Marcheta P. Evans, current President of Bloomfield College. Together they have six children. All successful college graduates.
Ed is an avid reader, Trekkie, podcast listener, and enjoys playing golf and tennis.
