The Test Center at Bloomfield College offers academic and professional examinations to Bloomfield College students, non-Bloomfield college students, and the general public. With a state-of-the-art facility conducive to test-taking and a fully certified staff, the center provides an optimal test-taking experience, offering test takers the opportunity to achieve their academic and/or professional goals. The Test Center at Bloomfield College adheres to the Professional Standards and Guidelines of the National College Testing Association.

Test Center Frequently Asked Questions

In the event an incident or incidents occur on the Bloomfield College campus that may affect the safety and security of the BC community, the College will issue a campus alert and/or a timely warning. These campus alerts and/or timely warnings can be issued through various means such as Emergency Text Messaging, email, postings on the Security section of the Bloomfield College website, digital signage, and/or flyers on campus.

What happens when the Test Center closes on my testing day?

ATI, CLEP, DSST, Distance Learning Proctoring – your exam will be rescheduled. The Test Center will reach out to you to let you know of the closure and to offer you a chance to reschedule your exam. If you missed our call, please email test_center@bloomfield.edu to reschedule.

All other exams will be rescheduled with the organization you made the appointment with. Please contact them if you have any questions.

What happens when the Test Center closes for my test prep class?

All test prep courses will be rescheduled for another date or held virtually.

I don’t attend Bloomfield College, can I still take my exam?

Yes, we offer CLEP, DSST, TEAS, ISO, and Talogy exams to the community. If you need a proctor for your exam, please check out the Distance Learning Proctoring Service on the Testing Services page.

Where do I park?

Parking is available in the lot at 225 Liberty St. with PaybyPhone®

PaybyPhone® is an easy way to ensure that you are up-to-date with your meter payments. Simply call 1-866-234-7275, visit PaybyPhone®, or download the free application to register your vehicle and payment information. Payment should be made before leaving the vehicle to avoid a citation. Please ensure you enter your license plate correctly.

There is also metered parking along Broad St. There is a 2 hour parking limit, so please keep that in mind before parking for a longer exam. Parking is free after 6:00pm. Please check with Bloomfield Township for updated information.

The Test Center is not responsible for fees or tickets for parking.

What do I need to bring with me for my exam?

  • All exams require a government-issued photo ID.
  • All personal items, electronic devices (including calculators), food/drinks are not permitted in the testing room. There are exceptions for approved accommodations or specific exams. We have lockers to store any items you bring with you.
  • CLEP requires your CLEP Registration Ticket from CollegeBoard
  • DSST – Credit Card (not Discover)
  • TEAS – ATI username and password
  • ISO (various certification exams) – Candidate Admission Letter
