Bloomfield College Alumni Support NJ Students Through Non-Profit

New Jersey twins and Bloomfield College Alumni, Terry Gray ’78 and Perry Gray ’77, have been supporting students through their 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, You’re All That, Inc.

Terry and Perry went on to pursue careers in the tobacco and reinsurance fields until they retired. For years, Terry was a Territory Manager for a prominent tobacco company and Perry worked in the reinsurance fields and elevated himself to Vice President at a prominent reinsurance company. Today, both hold executive positions in You’re All That, Inc.

You’re All That Inc., provides gifts and school supplies to help kids in need to adequately prepare them for success in the classroom. However, the organization’s primary mission is to help students with tutoring to strengthen their math and reading skills. A third party teaching company, Kumon, provides the tutoring service, which has allowed the brothers to allocate more time to develop the brand of the organization.

After observing how many parents were financially unable to provide their children with basic educational necessities, the generous brothers devised a plan to launch a non-profit. Together they formulated a strategy to source school supplies, donations, and other gifts to help families in need in communities across New Jersey.

“The school supplies are very helpful, but we know that if these kids are to be really successful, they also needed academic support as well,” said Terry.

“In today's society, giving back is not an option, it's a necessity. That's why we do what we do,” added Perry.

Terry and Perry’s goal is to help more children through their non-profit, but like many non-profit organizations, You’re All That, Inc., faces financial and staffing challenges. Macy’s and Target have provided major support for their initiatives, with individual donors and volunteers also providing their time and resources, but the organization is still lacking in some support areas.

Consequently, the brothers are earnestly seeking additional volunteer support. They are also accepting donations to further their cause of providing the tools necessary to help the underserved children of New Jersey succeed.  For further information, visit: http://www.youreallthat.org or call 848-391-2573.
