Alumni Association Kicks Off Crowdfunding Campaign to Support Students in Need

Commencement, Class of 2020

The Bloomfield College Alumni Association (BCAA) has organized a “Fund a Scholar” crowdfunding campaign aimed at raising additional scholarship money for students in the 2022-2023 academic year.

According to the BCAA, the “Fund a Scholar” campaign has been created to further financially support students this year who have demonstrated a passion for learning, a love of the school and a financial need that warrants the support of the Alumni Association.

Over the last year, the BCAA has made a strong effort to support our Bloomfield College students in many ways including mentorship, donations, internship opportunities, outsourcing resources and professional networking. With this fall campaign, we are asking for gifts in any amount to continue these agendas, and many more. There is no gift too small,” said BCAA Vice President, Gage Daye ’12.

Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Sarah Lacz, said the generosity of alumni and friends makes it possible to offer financial support for eligible students via the Bloomfield College Alumni Association Scholarship.

Scholarships are the heart of a Bloomfield College education. Philanthropic support for scholarships helps alleviate students’ financial burdens and provides them with important reinforcement to stay on track with their studies and complete their degrees,” said Lacz. “We are grateful for past and future donors.”

The purpose of the BCAA Annual Scholarship is to reduce the cost of tuition and provide life changing opportunities for students.
