The Green Hearts Movement is gaining interest beyond the boundaries of the campus. Green Hearts was created in 2009 by a group of students who were interested in sustainable gardening. Starting small, they created a plot that grew vegetables and herbs. Now, with the generous donation of Bloomfield Township Councilman Michael Venezia, they can start growing winter vegetables in the new greenhouse on campus.

Exciting news about a college-wide effort to reach out to commuter students to solicit their thoughts and opinions about Bloomfield College.  We invite you to participate in a Commuter Student Focus Group Interview.  

The AIDS Memorial Quilt is a powerful visual reminder of the AIDS pandemic. The quilt consists of more than 48,000 individual 3-by-6-foot memorial panels, most commemorating the life of someone who has died of AIDS.  These panels have been sewn together by friends, lovers and family members. Bloomfield's Center for Student Leadership and Engagement (CSLE) encourages you to take a moment to view a portion of The Quilt and reflect on the message and reminder it serves for us all.

Bloomfield College survived Superstorm Sandy with minimal damage. A grateful community sprang into action to help those who did not fare as well.

Each month, the Center for Student Leadership and Engagement publishes a calendar full of events and activities for Bloomfield College students. From discussion groups and information fairs to Student Goverment Meetings and even trips off campus, the CSLE Event Calendar provides students with tons of ways get involved!
