CLEP TESTING
Q: How much does it cost to register for CLEP?
A: Bloomfield College charges a $25 registration fee and CLEP charges an $93 fee for a total fee of $115.
Q: How do I register to take CLEP at Bloomfield College?
A: Register in 2 easy steps:
1. Register with Bloomfield College on this site. Bloomfield College charges a $25 registration fee. This will reserve your seat for a testing date.
2. Register with CLEP. CLEP charges an $93 fee. Here you will select the exam you choose to take. Please go to: https://www.collegeboard.org/

Q: How to I pay the $93 CLEP fee?
A: The CLEP fee must be paid online on the CLEP website. The $93 CLEP fee must be paid any time prior to arriving at the testing center.
Q: What do I need to bring with me on the day of the exam?
A: Make sure that you have first registered with Bloomfield College through this site. You need to bring your CLEP ticket voucher, which is provided by CLEP after you make the $93 payment through the CLEP website (make sure the exam you intend on taking is listed correctly on your voucher.) In addition you will need to bring a valid government issued photo ID, such as a Driver’s License or Passport. Information regarding acceptable forms of ID can be found on CLEP’s website.

A: The monthly exam schedule is posted two weeks prior to the start of the month.

CLEP Results
- Print out of score report given upon completion
- Official Transcript: Student must indicate when ordering CLEP exam through CLEP website which institution scores will be sent. (This initial transcript is free, but institution must be indicated when signing up on the CLEP site).
- Official Transcript sent from CLEP to the student’s institution (1-2weeks)
- Official Transcript for composition exams (3-4weeks) as they essays have to be scored by CLEP

TEAS ® TESTING
Q: How much does it cost to take the TEAS exam?
A: The exam costs $112, payable to ATI: www.atitesting.com.
Q: When is the TEAS offered?
A: TEAS is typically offered at least once a week.

Q: How long is the TEAS exam?
A: Students have up to 4 hours to complete the exam.
Q: I go to a different school, can I take my exam at Bloomfield? How does my school get my score?
A: Yes, you can take your exam here. Once finished, on the results screen with your score, there will be a send transcript button. It will prompt you to purchase a transfer credit. Once purchased, return to the results screen and hit send transcript again to use the credit and send your score to your school.
TEAS Results
- Official transcript sent (1-2weeks)
- Non-BC students have to pay for the transcript, and must order through ATI website or by calling ATI.
- Transcripts from BC students are sent to the nursing department within 48 hours.

Q: How much does it cost to register for TEAS Prep workshops?
A: The current fee schedule is as follows:
- Effective July 1, 2020: All Bloomfield College students will be required to pay a $20 non-refundable fee to reserve their place for any test prep session.
- $350 for alumni (student ID required)
- $499 for non-alumni/non-students
Q: How do I register for a TEAS Prep workshop?
A: You may register via the registration link.
Q: When are TEAS Prep workshops offered?
A: Two rounds of workshops are offered every semester. Please follow the registration link to view the latest offerings.
Q: How long are TEAS Prep workshops?
A: TEAS Prep workshops run for 5 consecutive weeks and are 4 hours in duration.
The first two hours are dedicated to Reading and English preparation and the last two hours are dedicated to Math and Science. Students will be provided with a half-hour break between sections.

PRAXIS II PREP
Q: How much does it cost to register for Praxis II Prep workshops?
A: The current fee schedule is as follows:
Early Childhood: Content Knowledge (5025)
- Effective July 1, 2020: All Bloomfield College students will be required to pay a $20 non-refundable fee to reserve their place for any test prep session.
- $175 for alumni (student ID required)
- $250 for non-alumni/non-students
Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects (5001)
- Effective July 1, 2020: All Bloomfield College students will be required to pay a $20 non-refundable fee to reserve their place for any test prep session.
- $350 for alumni (student ID required)
- $499 for non-alumni/non-students
- (Each subtest workshop is available for a fee of $87 to alumni and $125 for non-alumni/non-students).

Q: How much does it cost to register for Praxis Core Prep workshops?
A: The current fee schedule is as follows:
Mathematics or Reading/Writing

- $175 for alumni (student ID required)
- $250 for non-alumni/non-students
If Mathematics and Reading/Writing Workshops are taken concurrently, the following discount applies:
$350 alumni/$499 non-alumni

TEST CENTER CLOSURE
Q: What happens when the Test Center closes on my testing day?
A: ATI, CLEP, DSST, Distance Learning Proctoring - your exam will be rescheduled. The Test Center will reach out to you to let you know of the closure and to offer you a chance to reschedule your exam. If you missed our call, please email test_center@bloomfield.edu to reschedule.
All other exams will be rescheduled with the organization you made the appointment with. Please contact them if you have any questions.
Q: What happens when the Test Center closes for my test prep class?
A: All test prep courses will be rescheduled for another date or held virtually.
