Math and Science Training Program (MAST)

We Cordially Welcome International Math and Science Teachers who dream of teaching in America!

This year-long program creates unique opportunities for visiting teachers to experience American culture both in and outside of classrooms. MAST participants complete courses on the history of American education, current education issues, New Jersey core curriculum standards, lesson planning, and classroom management. 

MAST participants also take part in classroom observations. Through their practical training, international math and science teachers observe the real-life implementation of theories studied during their education courses. The MAST program provides an exchange of ideas with highly trained and motivated American educators. The MAST program is a unique way for international teachers in the fields of science and mathematics to develop strong relationships while promoting international education and cooperation.
