“I believe first and foremost in a diverse and inclusive theatre. I strive to create work that reflects the complexities of our communities with truth, dignity, and levity. When I write, I hope to speak to what ails us as a society without losing the opportunity or obligation to entertain. I truly believe in art’s ability to question and influence society on a micro and macro level."
