Anthony Elefante ’21

Body

Born and raised in Ocean County, New Jersey, Anthony is a Bloomfield College resident student, member of the Honors Program and member of the men's baseball team. When he is not living on campus, he enjoys spending time at his home in Forked River with his parents, older brother and his bulldog Max.

Anthony attended Lacey Township High School and was a member of the Honors Society. Outside of the classroom he hit the court as a member of Lacey's basketball and baseball teams. As a Lacey Lion, he received First Team All-South as a pitcher and Strike Out Autism Player of the Game.

After visiting larger colleges and universities both in and out of state, he settled on Bloomfield College because it made him feel like he was part of a family. The small campus atmosphere and welcoming environment nurtured his passion for baseball and the sciences. As a Bear on the field, Anthony is involved in a number of community service and volunteer activities. As a biochemistry major, he was chosen to be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Scholarship and Mentor Program.

"Bloomfield gives me the opportunity to be successful on the baseball field and in the classroom. My coaches and professors truly care about my success. I'm grateful and proud to call myself a Bear and look forward to achieving my dream of graduating, entering grad school and becoming a radiologist or doctor."
