You will need the following:Progress Chart or Program Evaluation~ a list of all course requirements needed to graduateCourse Catalog~ explains the components of each course and all necessary pre requisitesCourse Schedule~ lists each class offered for the current semester, time and day of class, and professorWeb Advisor~ lists course availabilitySTEPS TO CREATING YOUR SCHEDULE:1. Look over your Program Evaluation (found on web advisor) or Progress Chart (received during fresh/soph/junchecks) to determine what classes you need to take2. Select the Math and English courses next in sequence until you have completed these requirements3. Review list of major courses and select the ones you’d like to take4. Review list of general education requirements located in the college catalog based on the academic year youbegan. Exceptions are listed below:a. Transfer students beginning Fall 2012, use pg. 53 in 2011-2012 catalog for a list of general educationrequirementsb. If you are returning to the college after 3 years or more, you will be placed under the new catalog year5. Read the course catalog for a description and list of pre requisites for each course6. Refer to course schedule and/or web advisor to make sure course is offered and available for current semester7. Make sure to take into account your personal, work, athletic and home responsibility schedules when planningyour classes*Refer to class standing box, for the date you may begin registration

Log Into Web AdvisorClick on “Students Menu”Click on “Register for Sections” under the Registration SectionHere you can choose either “Search and Register for Sections” or “Express Registration”If you know exactly which courses you’d like, click “Express Registration”If you need to search through courses first, click “Search and Register for Sections”
“Search and Register for Sections” “Express Registration” Select Term (Spring 2014)*do not enter start and end dateSelect Subject (For example: BIOLOGY) Select Subject (For example: BIOLOGY)*you do not need to enter coursenumber or sectionEnter the Course Number and Section Check the box next to the course you wouldlike to add to your scheduleExample: Intro to Philosophy-enterPhilosophy 100B 1Subject Number SectionClick Submit Select Term (Spring 2014) Select “Register” in the Action box next to the selected courseClick Submit Click Submit Select “Register” in the Actionbox next to each entered courseRepeat this process for each courseyou’d like to add to your scheduleClick Submit Please review “sections for which you are currently registered” to make sure your registration was submitted correctly!Note: You may have to scroll down on the page to view this
