Buy-One-Get-One Summer Course Discount:

The College is pleased to announce a buy-one-get-one discount on Summer 2020 courses. Students who register and complete 2.0 course units (8 credits) during the summer sessions are eligible for a discount from the College to cover the cost of 1.0 course unit. Students may cover the costs of the remaining course using Summer Pell Grants, remaining loan eligibility, or out of pocket payments. We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to either continue to progress or get back on track to graduation!

Eligibility for Buy-One-Get One Discount:

  • Enroll in at least 2.0 course units (8 credits) during the 2020 summer session
  • Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Must be a current Bloomfield College student

To review a list of courses that will be offered at Bloomfield throughout the summer, please visit the Summer 2020 Course Offerings website

The buy-one discount will be automatically applied to your account once you register for 2 or more course units (8+ credits) during the summer session. If you have questions about you Summer 2020 financial aid, please contact us at financial_services@bloomfield.edu

Please note:

  1. Students receiving the buy-one-get-one discount must maintain at least 2.0 course units, if at any time the student withdraws from a course that drops their course load below 2.0 course units (8 credits) the student forfeits the buy-one-get-one discount and will be charged accordingly.
  2. If a student registers for one course in S5 and one course in S7 to receive the buy-one-get-one discount, and then proceeds to drop the S7 course, the student will be charged for the initial course and the discount would no longer be applicable.
  3. SAP evaluation is completed after the S5 session, if a student fails SAP, by Title IV rules, the student is no longer eligible to receive aid. This said, if a student fails SAP before they complete the 2.0 course units (8 credits) then the student will no longer be eligible for the buy-one-get-one discount
  4. If a student's Pell Grant exceeds the amount of the registered courses which are not covered by the Buy-One-Get-One discount, the College reserves the right to reduce the amount of the aforementioned discount.
