A Makerspace for the Rest of Us

This workshop, hosted by Library Director Greg Reid, will help introduce you to the amazing world of the makerspace.

Hitting the ground in the spirit of a high school wood shop or metal shop, makerspace is a do-it-yourself venue offering high-tech and many other kinds of resources. Makerspace users invent, collaborate, make things and learn Makerspaces are said to be a driving force in democratizing technology.

At this workshop you’ll make quick leaps in knowledge in a comfortable, fun setting where the technology is explained in your terms. You’ll also be able to try the equipment in a judgment-free environment.

Location: Bloomfield College Library, corner of Liberty and Oakland, Bloomfield 07003
