McNair Scholars Program: Good News

McNair Scholar Destiny King presented a poster of her Summer 2021 research in person on March 18th, 2022 at an Annual National McNair Research Conference at the University of Maryland, College Park. Destiny's research was titled "Visualizing the Luciferin/Luciferase Light Reaction." Dr. Daniel Young (Principal Investigator) and Co-Mentor Jacki Whisenant (University of Wisconsin-Madison) provided guidance regarding Ms. King's virtual research project.

Dr. Gayatri Nehrusingh-Pajerowski graduated from Bloomfield College and is a McNair Alumna. In February of 2021, Dr. Nehrusingh-Pajerowski successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at Johns Hopkins University's School of Education entitled, "Examining College Students' Perception of their Mathematics Self-Efficacy After Completing A Growth Mindset Exercise, Expressive Writing, and Spacing and Retrieval Practice." Dr. Nehrusingh-Pajerowski is currently serving as the Assistant Director of EOF at Passaic County Community College.
