CTLT cooperates with the IT group, the Library and the Media Center to provide faculty with the following services.
Web Courseware Development
We work individually with faculty members to design and develop courses for online delivery via Blackboard. Whether you put your syllabus online or place the entire course online, or want to explore potentials in specific areas on Blackboard to enhance student learning, and enrich your students experience in technology, we can help you.
Instructional Design Support
We can assist faculty with designing, developing instructional strategies for integrating technology into either traditional classroom teaching or online learning environment.
Hands-on Workshops
Most of our training/workshops will include hands-on activities from basic technical skills to more advanced applications. Please check the workshop schedule on our website.
Distance Learning Support
CTLT provides support for distance learning, collaborative teaching/learning activities online. We provide training to faculty on teaching online and developing online courses.
Multimedia Production Assistance
CTLT provides faculty with consultation and technical assistance to integrate multimedia into their teaching. We can help faculty design, develop and produce multimedia components, such as digital audio and video clips, streaming media and computer-based interactive learning activities for teaching activities deliverable either online or on local computers. The media files can be stored on CD/DVD disks. Streamed media files can be directly uploaded to the Blackboard course site.
Technology Demonstrations
CTLT hosts technology demonstrations periodically to keep you updated on new technology available on campus.
Student Technology Seminars
CTLT hosts regular technology seminars to students to support technology integration in curriculum in classes, programs and across division.
