Bloomfield EOF Agreement Policy

  • Compliance Guidelines
    • All Bloomfield EOF students are expected to:
      • Keep their assigned EOF counselor abreast of all financial, academic and personal changes and updates during monthly meetings.
      • Attend one scheduled EOF sponsored, approved university event, or preapproved program based on scholar’s status and/or academic interests.
      • Participate in tutoring sessions and study groups as assigned.
      • Meet Standards of Academic Progress (SAP).
      • Maintain full-time enrollment or have written approval for part-time enrollment from the appropriate authority.
      • Complete degree requirements within the limits of funding eligibility (maximum of 12 semesters of payment over the course of entire undergraduate career).
      • Return all borrowed items including books and calculators.
  • One on one counselor session guidelines
    • First Year scholars in Good Academic Standing (completed Summer Institute with no conditions):
      • You must meet with your assigned EOF Counselor bi-weekly throughout your initial semester of enrollment and once a month minimally in your second semester.
    • First Year scholars NOT in Good Academic Standing (completed Summer Institute with conditions):
      • You must meet with your assigned EOF Counselor bi-weekly throughout your initial semester of enrollment and continue to meet biweekly in the second semester if your term or cumulative grade point average is less than 2.0.
    • Continuing scholars in Good Academic Standing (term and cumulative GPAs are equal to or greater than 2.0):
      • You must meet with your assigned EOF Counselor at least once a month each semester.
    • Continuing scholars NOT in Good Academic Standing (term or cumulative GPA below 2.0):
      • You must meet bi-weekly with your assigned EOF Counselor every semester until your term and cumulative GPA meets good academic standing as determined by school of affiliation.

Your EOF Counselor is your main point of contact and will help you learn more about these different resources on campus and how to utilize each to be the most beneficial for you. Utilization of these services coupled with support services and programs offered by EOF, will help you achieve success and meet your educational and personal goals. 

Financial Aid Timeline

To remain eligible to receive Financial Aid and the EOF grant, current Bloomfield EOF students must complete the following tasks by the deadlines below. Failure to complete these items before the deadlines may result in loss of EOF grant eligibility and financial aid for the academic year. Speak to your EOF counselor each semester about options for any term bill balances.
