Fourth-Year Pathways

Seniors, you have worked diligently to this point to be prepared for success, now its time to embark on your professional journey!

Fourth Year: Implementation & Transition Planning - PATHWAY IV

Students will refer to planner with faculty academic advisor to fill out graduation application
Students will meet with faculty academic advisor to discuss major and/or major changes
Register for HUM220: Ignite Your Passion Course if it aligns with major guidelines.
Students will meet with a member of CAACE to finalize job search or graduate/professional school plans. Assistance can also be provided by the McNair Scholars Program and OTWASS Grad Prep Program.
Students will attend programs and career related workshops targeted for seniors that will be scheduled by CAACE
Students will work with CAACE to confirm faculty, mentors and past/current employers who can serve as professional references
Students will continue to engage with their mentor and begin to think of how they can become mentors to underclassmen, post-graduation
Students will prepare for job interviews or graduate school by meeting with a member of CAACE
Students will meet with a member of CAACE to prepare and update resume and cover letter
Formulate an alternate "Plan B" in case of need to make career adjustments with the help of CAACE
Finalize e-portfolio and professional profiles in Handshake and LinkedIn
