An Online Bookstore is Coming to Bloomfield College
In an effort to provide books that are more cost effective for students, Bloomfield College is gearing up to implement its new online bookstore. This student-focused move, which will replace the institution’s current physical bookstore, will streamline online ordering and supply superior customer service.

This decision strengthens Bloomfield College’s commitment to affordability, accessibility, and student success. The low-cost textbooks and course material options will be available through a new partnership with Akademos, an online course materials platform.

“We’re pleased to be partnering with Akademos to expand our offerings and capabilities of our bookstore to better meet the needs of our students,” said Ashton Corley, Business Operations Analyst for Finance and Administration. “The online bookstore is a complete game changer for our institution.”

The online bookstore will additionally support Bloomfield College’s faculty and administrators with a comprehensive platform that offers a modernized process for managing all aspects of course materials adoption with a step-by-step guide for selections, recommendations, past adoption history, and the ability to compare prices in real time. The paired analytics dashboard will provide academic leadership with a high level of visibility with superior technology that tracks critical data, including student purchasing and utilization, and communicates with faculty and students via built-in notifications.

“We are excited to partner with Bloomfield College to provide faculty and administrators with powerful tools that will help reduce course materials costs for students, which will ultimately drive their preparedness and success.” said Raj Kaji, CEO, Akademos.
