On The Green Magazine Wins 2022 Platinum MarCom Award

The Bloomfield College On The Green magazine recently earned a 2022 Platinum MarCom Award, the competition’s highest honor. Only about 18 percent of entries were selected as Platinum winners among 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 43 other countries.

Bloomfield College was recognized for the 2021 summer issue of On the Green. The issue featured the economic power of a Bloomfield College degree known as “The Bloomfield Lift,” student highlights related to the College earning top rankings for the social and economic mobility of its graduates, and a series of notable student spotlights and recognitions.

“We are thrilled to once again have our alumni and friends publication be recognized by an external marketing and communications organization with competition judging by individuals who are industry professionals,” said Sarah Lacz, Bloomfield College Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “Our magazine team which is comprised of internal and external members is small but mighty, and it is wonderful to see their talent and high standard of excellence be recognized in this way.”

MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. MarCom’s Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.

Entries are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the industry’s preeminent third-party evaluator of creative work. AMCP has judged more than 300,000 entries since its formation in 1994. Entries receiving scores of 90-100 are Platinum Winners. Scores of 80-89 are Gold Winners and 70-79 are Honorable Mention Winners.
