Building Our Future Bond Act

Dear Students,

On Election Day, New Jersey voters will determine the future of higher education in the Garden State. The Building Our Future Bond Act will appear on the ballot as a referendum question – if passed, this Act will authorize $750 million in state bonds for academics facilities improvements at colleges and universities state-wide. These funds will enable Bloomfield College to maintain a top-notch learning environment for you and future generations of students.

The Building Our Future Campaign officially kicked off on October 8th, and we need your help to pass this very important Public Ballot Question. Here are some things you can do to lend your support:

1) Publicly endorse and commit to Voting YES on Public Ballot Question One: fill out the online endorsement form.

2) Sign-up to volunteer on campus to convince your fellow students to vote on November 6, 2012.

3) If you are a member of a college group or organization, talk to your board about endorsing. If your group or organization would like to join the coalition, please fill out the endorsement form.

4) Most importantly…VOTE on Election Day, November 6, 2012! The referendum question will appear on the same ballot as the Presidential election and local elections. When voting, be sure to vote on all items on the ballot including the referendum questions at the bottom.

The student voice is a powerful force – be sure that you use your voice to advocate for the future of education in New Jersey. On Election Day, Vote YES on Question 1!
