Bloomfield College Athlete Named CACC Soccer Rookie of the Year

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced today that Bloomfield College student Regsan Watkins ’21 was named the 2017 CACC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year. Watkins is the Bears’ leading scorer with 13 regular season goals and 5 assists. The South Africa native was also named to the All-CACC First Team.

Additionally, fellow Bloomfield College students, William Baah ’18 (defender) and sophomore striker, Nicholas Calabia ’20 (striker), received honors from the League, making the All-CACC Second Team.
 
The #4-seeded Bears (12-3-2) defeated the defending conference champions, Georgian Court University (10-6-2) on October 30 and advanced to the semifinal round of the 2017 CACC Championship Tournament.
