28-year tradition of operettas
Montclair Operetta Club (MOC) has one of the oldest and richest histories of any community theater. In 1953 MOC broke its 28-year tradition of operettas and presented its first Broadway musical, Brigadoon. Since that time MOC has presented a wide range of Broadway shows including Titanic-The Musical, Follies, The Sound of Music, The Mikado, Ragtime, Rent, Company and Gypsy.

MAN OF LA MANCHA
Book by Dale Wasserman
Lyrics by Joe Darion
MAN OF LA MANCHA is adapted from Dale Wasserman's non-musical teleplay, I, DON QUIXOTE, which was in turn inspired by Miguel de Cervantes and his 17th-century masterpiece, DON QUIXOTE. It tells the story of the "mad" knight, DON QUIXOTE as a play within a play; performed by Cervantes and his fellow prisoners as he awaits a hearing with the Spanish Inquisition.
