Founded in 1868, Bloomfield College, is an independent, four-year college of 2,200 students offering programs in the liberal arts and sciences and pre-professional studies. The College has earned national recognition for its academic and co-curricular programs, its commitment to serve students from diverse backgrounds, and for its mission: to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society. The College was recently awarded the Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) Competitive Grant to support its global and multicultural mission.
