Bloomfield College has been awarded 2021 funding totaling $4.25 million through two U.S. Department of Education’s Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) Program grants to increase the College’s capacity to promote the postsecondary success of African-American students.

Bloomfield College has been recognized among the 2021 rankings of the “Best Prelicensure Bachelor of Science (BSN) Programs in New Jersey” by Nursing School Almanac. Specifically, the Bloomfield College nursing program was ranked no. 4 in the state.

Newark Rising High School Seniors Participate in College and Career Readiness Program at Bloomfield College

Bloomfield College recently welcomed 20 rising high school seniors from the Newark Public Schools to campus for a two-week “College and Career Readiness: Class of 2022 at Bloomfield College” program in partnership with the Newark Board of Education.
