Bloomfield College is hosting Question Bridge, a multimedia art show at the Scott H. Kaplan ’02 Art Gallery beginning Thursday February 7, 2013 and closing on Friday, April 26, 2013. An official selection at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, Question Bridge is a video about diversity and provides an intimate perspective of the complex dialogue between African American men.

Bloomfield College kicked off a month of celebrating the history and achievements of African Americans with an opening ceremony that included music, speakers, the raising of the African American flag and a reception.

Each month, the Center for Student Leadership and Engagement publishes a calendar full of events and activities for Bloomfield College students. From discussion groups and information fairs to Student Goverment Meetings and even trips off campus, the CSLE Event Calendar provides students with tons of ways get involved!

With funding from the Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) Program Formula Grant, the CHAMPS program at Bloomfield College is hosting an independent film titled From Fatherless to Fatherhood with a discussion with the filmmaker Kobie Brown. The film will be shown at the Van Fossan Theatre at the Westminster Arts Center on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
