With funding from the Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) Program Formula Grant, the CHAMPS program at Bloomfield College is hosting an independent film titled From Fatherless to Fatherhood with a discussion with the filmmaker Kobie Brown. The film will be shown at the Van Fossan Theatre at the Westminster Arts Center on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Bloomfield College wishes to provide information to our community from FEMA regarding how to apply for assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The deadline to apply for Disaster Aid is January 30, 2013, and can be requested by visiting disasterassistance.gov.

With funding from the Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) Program Formula Grant, the lower floor of the library, next to the media center, became a new space designed to enhance information literacy, promote discussion and collaborative work among students, hold workshops, and conduct presentations.

Several students at Bloomfield College have submitted videos in the Financial Awareness Video Competition sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The year, Bloomfield College Students created three submissions to the contest.
