During the spring of 2013, five Division of Education Honors students: Regina Cora, Trudy Ann Davey, Cecilia Olivera, Nicole Paparella and Shama Perveen participated in a tutoring and mentoring project at the Fairview Elementary School in Bloomfield.  Honors students worked in classrooms alongside the following experienced mentor teachers: Abby DeNicolas, Lauren Marek, Lisa Maron, Joanne Roshon

Eileen Polazzi, assistant vice president for academic services and registrar and Alice Ann Sayler, PhD, professor of chemistry and computer information systems are retiring from the college at the end of the spring term.

Construction has begun on a new 80,434 square foot, four story residence hall at the corner of Broad and Franklin Streets in Bloomfield Township. The expansion project will create sustainable space with dormitories and classrooms plus approximately 7,600 square feet of office/commercial/retail options at street level.
