The Kellman program, a nine-month long course in the humanities for adults who are thinking about going to college, wrapped up its twelfth year.
The graduating nurses in the class of 2013 received their pins the day before commencement to signify their entry into the honorable service of their chosen profession.
Thirty BSN candidates and three of the five RN to BSN candidates attended the ceremony in which each senior was pinned by the chair of the Frances M. McLaughlin Division of Nursing, Dr. Neddie Serra.

During the spring of 2013, five Division of Education Honors students: Regina Cora, Trudy Ann Davey, Cecilia Olivera, Nicole Paparella and Shama Perveen participated in a tutoring and mentoring project at the Fairview Elementary School in Bloomfield. Honors students worked in classrooms alongside the following experienced mentor teachers: Abby DeNicolas, Lauren Marek, Lisa Maron, Joanne Roshon
