Step 2
Let Us Know You’re Committing

To reserve your place at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, submit your new student enrollment deposit online by December 15th for Spring and May 1st for Fall. If you are planning to live on campus, you may also submit your housing deposit at this time. The new student deposit and housing deposit are non-refundable. On-campus housing is guaranteed for students who have paid their housing deposit by May 1. Housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who pay their housing deposit after May 1.
Step 3
Complete Your Housing Survey (resident students only)

Students who pay their housing deposit should complete the housing survey. We ask that you fill out this survey to best assist us in matching you with your first year roommate!

Any questions about your schedule, please email registrar@bloomfield.edu. Questions about your student portal can be directed to helpdesk@bloomfield.edu

Step 7

Compliance with these regulations is monitored by Bloomfield College. These required vaccines are commonly given in childhood, check with your medical provider or your high school for proof of vaccination.

View Immunization Requirements

All immunization documentation should be submitted using MyHealthPortal. You will have access to this portal after you have claimed your NetID and replaced your one-time use password with a new personal password.

NetIDs are now available for admitted Bloomfield College students, please follow the instructions to claim your NetID.

Step 8
Make Payment Arrangements

You will need to make sure you are financially cleared to move-in and to start classes for the spring semester. Contact Student Financial Services by calling 973-748-9000 option 3 or by emailing financial_services@bloomfield.edu to make sure you are ready to go! In addition to paying your balance in full, Bloomfield College is excited to offer a payment plan system with Cash Net to pay your semester charges. The payment plan offers functionality such as access to student account information in real-time, online management of accounts including payment plan adjustments and payment preferences of direct debit from a checking or savings (ACH) account, or credit card payments. Visit Financial Aid to learn more about the payment plan. Students should meet with an Office of Student Financial Services counselor if financial aid documents are missing or have questions pertaining to their award package.

Financial clearance will be given to students who complete one of the following options:

  • Pay their balance due in full, or
  • Set up an approved payment plan using Cash Net Payment Plan Portal, or
  • Receive enough financial aid to cover their entire bill (the Office of Student Financial Services will make this determination)
Step 9
Submit Your Final Transcripts

Your final official high school transcripts (including graduation date), official AP and CLEP score reports from College Board, dual-enrollment or other early college program transcripts, must be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions so you can have those credits added to your degree evaluation if applicable. Official transcripts and scores come to us directly from the originating institution (not from the student) either through the mail or electronically.

Your degree progress and first semester schedule may be impacted if all final and official transcripts are not received by before the start of your first semester of enrollment.
