Claim Your Montclair NetID Today!

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024 returning Bloomfield students received an email to their personal email address on file, from netid-admin@montclair.edu with the subject line “Activate your Montclair State University NetID.” This message provided detailed instructions on how to activate your Montclair NetID! As of June 10, admitted and transfer students who are starting in Fall 2024 may also claim their NetIDs.

Please Note: This message was NOT sent to your bloomfield.edu account, only to the personal email address on file.

What Is a NetID and What Does This Mean for Me?

Your NetID is an identification given to all students at Montclair State University and will get you access to many services and activities! Your NetID will also generate a new Montclair Gmail account that will be your primary source of communication and information at the University. Your bloomfield.edu email will expire.
