Assistant Professor of Accounting

The Division of Accounting, Business, CIS and Economics at Bloomfield College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Accounting for the 2014-2015 academic year. We are interested in a candidate who can teach all courses for the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs.  The successful candidate will have a course load of 3/3 over two semesters.   Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. or M.B.A./C.P.A. with teaching experience at the graduate level.

Assistant Professor of Business Management

The Division of Accounting, Business, CIS and Economics at Bloomfield College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Business Management for the 2014-2015 academic year. We are interested in a candidate who has experience and qualifications to teach Operations Management, Total Quality Management and/or Project Management courses as well as other topics as needed.  The successful candidate will have a course load of 3/3 over two semesters.   Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. or A.B.D. status with expected date of Ph.D. completion as well as a demonstrated record of achievement in a field of management through practice and/or publication.

Adjunct Faculty Postions in Mathematics

The Bloomfield College Natural Science and Mathematics Division has a number of sections of College Algebra that need instructors for the Spring 2015 semester.  The semester begins on January 15, 2015.

Most classes are at the freshman level, meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and are supported by mandatory review sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Instructors have the choice of teaching both the class and the support sessions or having the support sessions directed by another individual.

Adjunct Faculty Positions in Computer Science

Bloomfield College seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses in java programming, web programming, operating systems and database management. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree. Previous teaching experience is preferred.  These classes will be taught on-campus in Bloomfield, NJ.
