Mental Health Emergencies

In case of a mental health emergency, what do you do?

During counselors' office hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm), contact our office.  Visit us on the Third Floor of the Student Center.  

In case of a mental health emergency during non-business hours, please contact one of the following 24/7 crisis hotline numbers, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room:

(973) 429-6969: Mountainside Hospital - Hotline, Crisis Counselors, 24hrs.

(800) 273- TALK (8255) – National Suicide Prevention Hotline and Local services referral number
