Diana Mendez Read Bio +/-

Diana Mendez is a career development and student affairs professional with 11 years of experience in higher education. She previously worked at NYU's Wasserman Center for Career Development as an Assistant Director where she developed student employee training and evaluation strategies, and managed an award winning first-generation student mentorship program. Diana also has experience managing large internship programs, diversity-driven initiatives, and early college engagement efforts. Throughout her career, Diana has been deeply committed to enhancing students' university experience by promoting, developing, and executing experiential education programs for diverse student populations. Diana received a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. After completing graduate school, Diana served as an Assistant Director at Pace University, where she managed one of the largest internship programs in the country and won the Jefferson Award Bronze Medal for Public Service. She also has experience in serving underrepresented student populations as a Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) Academic Advisor at Essex County College, and in alumni relations as an Assistant Director at Montclair State University. An avid traveler and volunteer, she has served as a staff advisor for student-centered international programs, overseeing student cohorts in Italy and the Dominican Republic. Diana is currently the First Vice President of the Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officer's Association (MNYCCPOA), where she plans full scale conference meetings for over 300 career services professionals in the NY Metro area. She has also presented on the regional and national arenas on different student employment topics for the National Association of Student Employment. In her spare time, Diana enjoys traveling, community service, and planning events.

Nikki Santoro holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from William Paterson University and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education/Psychology from The College of New Jersey. An elementary educator for two years prior to joining the Bloomfield College community, Nikki decided to pursue her love of counseling and begin a career in higher education working with college students to discover and obtain their professional career goals. She is passionate about learning new technology, enjoys working with colleagues to brainstorm and implement streamlined practices, and continuously seeks to hone her technological skills. A new professional to the field, Nikki is excited to grow and develop in career development and make an impact on the lives of those she serves.

Jennifer Messina Read Bio +/-

Jennifer Messina earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Berkeley College in Woodland Park, NJ. She went on to work at JP Morgan in New York City for 8 years, moving up from an administrative assistant to working in the IT department as a desktop support specialist. She made a professional decision to work closer to her home and accepted a position with Aventis Pharmaceuticals in Bridgewater, NJ. Jennifer took some time to raise her family, and upon re-entering the workforce, realized that she wanted to be able to help college students make their own dreams a reality.
