Rachel M. Jackiewicz earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Services from the Graduate School of Education of Fordham University. Prior to joining Bloomfield College Rachel’s professional experiences encompass over 16 years of career counseling, student support services, and academic advisement at St. Thomas Aquinas College. After serving as the Director of Career Services with St. Thomas Aquinas College Rachel decided to diversify her professional background by accepting the position of Director of Guidance Counseling at a private independent international boarding high school in Westchester County, New York. Rachel has decided to follow her true calling and return to higher education and career development. She has a proven passion and enthusiasm for providing students with the necessary resources and tools to achieve lifelong academic, social, and professional success.

Assistant Director

Anna Marie has twenty six years’ experience in higher education which includes advising and career counseling. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling in Higher Education from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Douglass College. Her areas of expertise are in career guidance, resume and cover letter assistance, and job preparation. She worked at Union County College, Kean University and for the past 14 years as the Assistant Director for the Center for Career Development of Bloomfield College. Her passion is to assist students identify their skills, interests and values and provide them guidance in selecting a major.

Freshman Career Coach/Student Employment Coordinator

Nikki Santoro holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from William Paterson University and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education/Psychology from The College of New Jersey. An elementary educator for two years prior to joining the Bloomfield College community, Nikki decided to pursue her love of counseling and begin a career in higher education working with college students to discover and obtain their professional career goals. She is passionate about learning new technology, enjoys working with colleagues to brainstorm and implement streamlined practices, and continuously seeks to hone her technological skills. A new professional to the field, Nikki is excited to grow and develop in career development and make an impact on the lives of those she serves.
