About the Program

Through the ages, religion has expressed people’s understanding of their relationship with God - or to the concept of the divine. Religion has spawned wars and crusades. Offered profound wisdom. Encouraged acts of kindness and charity beyond reason. What could be more fascinating? As a religion major at Bloomfield College, you will study all of the major world religions, including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. You also will explore the religions of Africa, Australia and Polynesia, as well as the history of religion in America.
