Dean's List and Academic Awards
The Dean's List is published at the end of each semester and is based on academic performance as measured by grades achieved during that semester. Notation of inclusion on the Dean's List is made in the student's permanent record, and is included on all transcripts of the student's grades.
Full-time students are eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List every semester. Part-time students are eligible after two consecutive semesters during which they complete at least four course units. Part-time students may only count the same semester for inclusion on the Dean's List once. Summer courses will not be considered when determining a student's eligibility for Dean's List. Students who recieve a grade of "Incomplete" are not considered for Dean's List in that semester. Students who are awarded "Honors" certificates have achieved a quality point average of 3.5 or higher; those receiving "High Honors" certificates have achieved a quality point average of 3.8 or higher.
Students who have earned Dean’s List status during both the fall and spring semesters will be honored at a ceremony each October. Students who qualify to attend the ceremony will receive an invite via campus e-mail in September.
Academic awards are awarded throughout the academic year in various ways and students who recieve them will be honored at the Baccalaureate ceremony in May if they are a graduating student or if they are not graduating they will be honored at the ceremony in October. Students who qualify to attend either ceremony will recieve an invite via campus e-mail in May or September.
Fall 2015 Dean's List Recipients will be announced in January 2016
