About CTLT
Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology (CTLT) is an academic support unit under Academic Affairs. It was established in April 2003, and was the result of faculty demand for technology support and commitment from the Administration.
CTLT is committed to promoting technology integration in curriculum to enhance the teaching and learning at Bloomfield College. We support the College's mission "to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society" through technology support to our faculty, students and staff.
CTLT has been involved in many campus technology initiatives to expand the access to technology for our faculty and students, introduce new technologies to campus, and acquire new technology resources to better service the College community. CTLT shares its findings with College faculty and staff by hosting demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Since its establishment, CTLT has provided faculty with many technology workshops, and co-sponsored faculty technology events with the Faculty Development Committee and Faculty Technology & Information Resources Committee, such as the Annual Faculty Technology Showcase and Technology Workshops.
CTLT also hosts the Faculty Technology Lab - a place for faculty to explore new technologies, share experience, and produce multimedia components for instruction.
