How will I be able to obtain my diploma if I do not attend Commencement?
Diplomas will be available for pick up from the Registrar's Office (229 Liberty Street) starting Friday, May 22nd. If you would like to have your diploma mailed to you, please contact the Registrar's Office at 973-748-9000, ext. 1221.

How do I know if I am on the official graduation list?
Please contact the Registrar's Office at 937-748-9000, ext. 1221.

Is academic attire required?
Yes, caps and gowns are required (see Cap and Gown Purchase Information). 

Are tickets required?
Yes, all guests 2 yrs. and older will require an admission ticket. Please note that ticket allocation is based upon the actual number of students participating in the ceremony and capacity of the venue.  While we would like to issue an unlimited number of tickets for your friends and relatives, we must accommodate some guests for all of our students (See Guest Tickets).

Are there overflow seating/additional viewing options?
Yes, guests without tickets are welcome to view the ceremony in Van Fossan Theatre. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and admission to the Theatre will be capped when we reach maximum capacity for the space. A live webcast of the ceremony can also be viewed at www.bloomfield.edu/academic/commencement/live-stream.

Is there a Commencement Rehearsal?
Yes, it will be held on Monday, May 18th, at 5:00 pm on the College Quandrangle.  All students participating in Commencement should attend.
