The chief Academic Officer of Bloomfield College and the senior officer who is in charge of Academic Affairs is Dr. Marion Terenzio, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty.

The Academic Affairs Office oversees all the operations of the academic divisions and is responsible for academic advisement and planning, programs, student academic support services, faculty appointments and advancement, the library and all other matters related to academic issues. The Academic Affairs "team" is responsible for creating an exciting learning environment for students includes the following units:

• Advising and Registration

• Library and Media Center

• Center for Academic Development

• Center for Global Studies, EAP/ESL

• Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology

• Center for Adult Learning

• Educational Divisions: Humanities, Social and Behavioral Science, Nursing, Natural Science and Math, Accounting/Business/CIS and Economics, Creative Arts and Technology and Education

Academic Affairs also plays a central role in all academic honors events and ceremonies, such as Deans’ List Ceremony, Convocation, Baccalaureate and Commencement.
