  • Managing your distress:
    The disastrous earthquake in Haiti has affected so many member of our community. As we prepare to begin a new semester, two short papers may provide some helpful coping suggestions for you or for other people in your life. Here are two links to the American Psychological Association’s web site:

  • Counseling Support:
    Students affected by the tragic situation are encouraged to speak to a counselor as soon as possible. If that is not something you wish to do right now, this free webinar may also prove to be of use and offers the added advantage of providing an online opportunity to interact with other Haitian students in similar circumstances.
